We are delighted to share that Bernard Block, a landmark building in Kelowna, Canada—delivered by HDL Canada Partner—has been awarded the 2025 IES Illumination Award of Merit for Lighting Control Innovation. This recognition from the Illuminating Engineering Society—a leading authority in illumination since 1906—celebrates innovation, technical excellence, and outstanding design in lighting.

Bernard Block is a 34-storey, 257-unit residential development. Its intelligent and expressive lighting design stood out among projects worldwide, demonstrating how advanced lighting control can enhance both architectural beauty and the user experience.
